It’s official, Region of Peel has brought back calendar and text reminders to smart phones for garbage and recycling pickup days.

Through the Region of Peel’s website you can now choose between a bunch of different options to stay on top of your waste pickup days. You have the option to choose from email alerts, text messages or you can add your pickup days to your Google Calendar, Outlook or iCal.

You also have the option to receive phone calls or print a copy of your neighbourhood pickup schedule for your home.

All you have to do to set up a reminder is to visit the Region of Peel’s website, type in your address, and select the type of reminder you want. You have the option to set up different types of reminders if you’d like.
