Interactive Installation Returns to Canada January 24 – February 23, 2023 in Garden Square, Brampton.
January 26, 2023 – Downtown Brampton is excited to announce that the highly-anticipated installation, Roseaux by 1ToMn, will be making its return to Canada starting on January 24th and running until February 23rd, 2023. The installation will be located in Garden Square, in the heart of downtown Brampton.
Roseaux is a one-of-a-kind, “participactive” and interactive installation that consists of six massive reeds that reach towards the sky. Visitors are encouraged to activate the base of the reeds by stepping on sensors, which will create a fun and exciting race to the top of the reeds, complete with a vibrant soundscape and an energizing sensory experience. The installation is perfect for families and encourages the community to visit downtown Brampton and support local businesses, after an afternoon of free skating in Gage Park or visiting the neighbourhood art galleries.
The presentation of Roseaux by 1ToMn is funded by the Downtown Brampton BIA, The City of Brampton and Canada Healthy Community Initiatives. The creation and artistic direction of the installation is by 1ToMn, with light and sound design by UDO Design and Serge Maheu, and interactive control system design by Serge Maheu. The installation is co-owned by Init and 1ToMn, with tour production by Creos.
Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to experience the playful and larger-than-life reeds of Roseaux by 1ToMn in downtown Brampton from January 24th to February 23rd, 2023. It is a perfect chance to enjoy an afternoon of free skating in Gage Park and supporting local businesses.
