- Movie theatres
- Some smaller grocery stores (Rabba)
- Most Shoppers Drug Marts
- Most restaurants and bars but call ahead
What’s Closed:
- Bramalea City Centre on Good Friday and Easter Sunday
- All major malls including Trinity Common Mall, Square One & Vaughn Mills
- All major grocery stores (Metro, Loblaws, etc) on Good Friday & Easter Sunday
- Banks and Regional services such as Ontario Works
- All Brampton Library branches on Good Friday and Easter Sunday
- Brampton Animal Shelter closed on Good Friday, Easter Sunday & Easter Monday
- LCBO & Beer Store
- Transit stores
Most Region of Peel services will be closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday including: Employment Resource Centres, Family Health Call Centres, Healthy Sexuality Clinics, Dental Services, Human Services Reception, Child Care Centres, Breastfeeding Clinic Services, and Peel Access to Housing
Brampton Transit Schedule:
- April 19: Good Friday – Sunday/Holiday service
- April 20: Saturday – Regular Saturday service
- April 21: Easter Sunday – Sunday/Holiday service
- April 22: Easter Monday – Regular weekday service (school routes will not operate)
Customer service counters at terminals will be closed on Good Friday & Easter Sunday.
A number of city services will be unavailable or will operate under reduced service levels. However, several services including Fire & Emergency Services and City of Brampton By-Law Enforcement will continue to operate normally.
