Starbucks, one of the most popular coffeehouse chains in the world, is closing one of its locations in Brampton.

The Starbucks outside Bramalea City Centre (BCC), located at 50 Peel Centre Drive near Five Guys and The Keg, closes its doors this month.

To commemorate its run, everyone is invited to a closing party on November 23, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Customers who enjoy their trademark products are welcome to join their baristas, managers, friends and family for an afternoon of reminiscing and enjoying their coffee and pastries.

Starbucks Canada opened its first coffee shop in Vancouver, B.C., back in 1987, and has since grown to over 1,400 locations. It’s known for its coffeehouse, barista-served spaces, and an inclusive menu that features breakfast and lunch items throughout the day, and of course there are drinks from hot coffees to ice teas, and steamed juices.

Though this location is closing, Starbucks is still running up to fifteen locations across Brampton, including one at Four Corners, one west of Queen and Kennedy, and one at the Steeles Walmart plaza. And of course, the cafe inside BCC, near Footlocker and Cinnabon, will remain open.

Be sure to check out the closing party this Saturday and ‘Gram your photos for posterity.
