Students attending a high school in the GTA and who want to complete their 40 hours of community service hours will be glad to know that the Toronto Pearson Airport Welcome Team is searching for volunteers to be part of the airport’s Junior Ambassador Program.
The Toronto Welcome Team consists of volunteers who are courteous in meeting and greeting people and helping them with various needs all around the airport.
The Toronto Pearson Welcome Team will be holding information sessions on the following dates:
- Tuesday, April 30 from 9 am to 12:30 pm
- Thursday, May 2 from 6 pm to 9:30 pm
- Saturday, May 4 from 9 am to 1:30 pm
Students interested in participating can apply this month right here. Successful candidates will receive a letter of acceptance and will need to apply for a Transport Canada Security Clearance as well as provide a criminal background check from local police in order to take advantage of this volunteer opportunity.
