Justin Bieber: H&M merch “TRASH” – collection pulled from company website.
December 21, 2022 – Singer Justin Bieber claimed in a social media post that H&M, a fashion retailer, used his image to sell merchandise without his permission.
“I didn’t aprove [sic] any of the merch collection that they put up at H&M .. all without my permission and approval,” Bieber wrote on an orange screen on Instagram. “SMH I WOULDN’T BUY IT IF I WERE YOU.”
“The H&M MERCH THEY MADE OF ME IS TRASH AND I DIDN’T APPROVE IT DONT BUY IT,” closed the statement from the world famous Grammy award winner.
The collection featured a sweatshirt, canvas bag, and T-shirt dress with Bieber’s face and lyrics printed on them.
H&M stated that they followed proper approval procedures for licensed products and partnerships, but later confirmed that they had removed the collection from their stores and online.
Previously, Bieber had partnered with the company for his Purpose touring merchandise and follow-up collection in 2017.
