At first glance, the Trophy Foods warehouse located at 71 Admiral Blvd. on the borders of Brampton and Mississauga looks just like your average logistics centre.
But inside is a haven of edible nuts, dried fruits and confectionery food items, all at discounted prices. But that isn’t all: the location also sells a bunch of cakes from the oh-so-popular and delicious Cheesecake Factory, delivered weekly.
Random? Yes. Completely and totally awesome? Absolutely! You can enjoy a slice of Cheesecake Factory cake without the three-hour drive to Buffalo or having to think about sad current state of the Canadian Dollar.
Trophy carries quite a few of the cakes you’ll find on the Cheesecake Factory’s menu on any given day. Deliveries are made from the Cheesecake Factory in Buffalo once a week, so the cakes are fresh and taste just as good — we couldn’t help but try them for ourselves, you know, for quality assurance purposes.
Flavours include the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake, dulce de leche cheesecake, Reese’s cheesecake, their ultimate red velvet cheesecake and a ton of other flavours.
Prices range from $4.99 for individual slices, all the way up to $55 for a 10 inch round cake, depending on the flavour.
Trophy is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The entrance to the store is located on the east side of the building facing Edwards Blvd.
